Garlic Sesame Crackers

Yield: 24 crackers Active Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 20 minutes Total Time: 30 minutes (+30 min. chill time)

Ingredients

  • ½ cup + 2 tbsp almond flour 

  • 2 cloves garlic; minced

  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds 

  • 1 tsp salt 

  • ¼ tsp paprika

  • 2 tbsp butter; chilled

  • 2 tbsp ice water 

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 

  2. Add flour, 1 tbsp sesame seeds, salt, garlic and paprika to a food processor and pulse until combined. 

  3. Add the butter and blend until the mixture reaches a crumby consistency. 

  4. Slowly add the water and blend until a dough forms. 

  5. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. 

  6. On a floured surface, roll the dough out until it is ¼ inch thick. 

  7. Cut out 3” by 4” rectangles and cut them in half to form two triangles. Sprinkle with the remaining tablespoon of sesame seeds. 

  8. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20 minutes and place on a cooling rack.
