How to Make Vibrant Gorgeous Tangerine Marmalade
- Wash your six tangerines thoroughly under running water. Slice them into thin rounds, discarding any seeds.
- In a large pot, mix the sliced tangerines, two cups of sugar, fresh lemon juice, and one cup of water. Stir gently until well-integrated.
- Place the pot over medium-high heat. Stir occasionally until the mixture reaches a gentle boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer uncovered for about 45 minutes, keeping an eye on it as it thickens.
- To check for doneness, drop a spoonful onto a cold plate. If it sets, you're ready to jar it!
- Carefully pour the hot marmalade into sterilized jars, seal tightly, and allow to cool at room temperature.
