How to Make Cozy Spiced Winter Coffee
- Brew your favorite coffee, using about 2 cups.
- Combine the brewed coffee with a cinnamon stick and about ½ teaspoon of ground nutmeg in a small saucepan. Heat over medium, stirring occasionally, until it starts to bubble gently.
- Add one tablespoon of pure vanilla extract along with sugar or your preferred sweetener to taste. Stir until everything is well mixed and the sugar has dissolved.
- Blend in ½ cup of warmed milk or cream (or almond milk for a vegan twist) into the mixture. Stir gently until well combined.
- Serve the warm coffee mixture into your favorite mugs, straining out the cinnamon stick if needed. Garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
