  • 8 oz Pasta Spaghetti, penne, or fusilli

  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Milk Whole or low-fat

  • 1/2 cup Grated Cheese Parmesan or mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Herbs Basil or parsley

Cooking Process
  1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Add your choice of pasta and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, keeping it warm.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in all-purpose flour and continue to stir for about 2 minutes until it achieves a golden brown color.
  3. Gradually pour in whole milk while whisking vigorously to prevent lumps. Keep cooking for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  4. Sprinkle in salt and pepper to taste, stirring continuously.
  5. Add the drained pasta to the creamy sauce, tossing everything together until coated.
  6. Plate your creamy pasta and, if desired, sprinkle with grated cheese and fresh herbs.
