How to Make Creamy Garlic Butter Shrimp with Rice
  1. Prep the Shrimp: Start by thawing frozen shrimp and patting them dry with a paper towel. Season them lightly with salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of paprika.
  2. Sauté the Shrimp: In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter until bubbly. Add the shrimp, searing for 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside.
  3. Build the Garlic Butter Sauce: Lower heat and add remaining butter. Once melted, add minced garlic, sauté for 1 minute. Stir in cream and parmesan, simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Return the Shrimp: Add shrimp back into the skillet, coating well in sauce. Heat through for another 1-2 minutes, adjusting seasoning with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve: Scoop warm rice into bowls, ladle shrimp and sauce over top, finishing with parsley or lemon zest.
