For the Dressing
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard Whole grain mustard can be used.
  • 3 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar White wine vinegar is a good substitute.
  • 4 tablespoons Olive Oil Avocado oil can be used for different flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Honey Maple syrup is a vegan alternative.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper Adjust according to taste.

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Shred the cabbage finely and grate the carrot using a sharp knife or a mandoline.
  2. Whisk the dressing ingredients in a small bowl until smooth.
  3. Combine the slaw ingredients in a large mixing bowl, tossing gently.
  4. Add the toasted walnuts and toss again.
  5. Drizzle the dressing over the slaw and mix until well-coated.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
