For Thickening
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch mix with cold water
  • 1/4 cup Cold Water for creating slurry

Basic Steps
  1. Prep the Beef: Pat the beef cubes dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the Beef: Heat oil, sear beef cubes on all sides for 5–7 minutes, then set aside.
  3. Cook Aromatics: Reduce heat, sauté onion until translucent, add garlic and ginger for another minute.
  4. Braise the Beef: Return beef, add soy sauce, broth, sugar, vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Simmer and braise covered for 2–3 hours.
  5. Thicken Sauce: Whisk cornstarch and water, stir into sauce, cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Serve: Serve hot over rice or noodles, enjoying every sticky, sweet bite!
