Preparation Steps
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, stirring and cooking until nicely browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Sauté chopped onion and minced garlic with the browned beef until the onion is soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Layer mozzarella cheese and sliced potatoes over the beef mixture. Season the potatoes with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar and grated Parmesan cheese on top, then pour the beef broth along the edges. Drizzle with milk if desired.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the potatoes are tender.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
