How to Make Irresistible Authentic Baklava Rolls
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9"x 13" baking pan.
  2. Unroll the phyllo dough and lay down 6 sheets in the greased pan, brushing each layer generously with melted butter.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped walnuts, chopped pistachios, and ground cinnamon. Spread half of this mixture over the layered phyllo.
  4. Gently roll up the phyllo layers to enclose the nut mixture tightly, then slice into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  6. In a saucepan, combine granulated sugar and water. Heat until dissolved, then let simmer for 10 minutes and mix in honey.
  7. Once the rolls are out of the oven, pour the hot syrup over them and allow to soak and cool before serving.
