Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C), and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Cube stale bread into 1-inch pieces.
- Whisk together eggs, heavy cream, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla in a large bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in chopped apples into the egg mixture.
- Pour the custard mixture over the bread cubes in the prepared baking dish.
- Drizzle the caramel sauce on top, and then bake for 45-50 minutes.
Serving
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.
