Preparation Steps
- Preheat Oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease your baking dish.
- Chop mixed vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and create a roux with flour. Gradually whisk in whole milk until thickened.
- Layer half of the vegetables in the baking dish, add half the sauce, then layer the remaining vegetables and sauce. Top with mozzarella, Parmesan, and breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is bubbly and golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
