- In a shallow bowl, whisk together plant-based milk, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
- Spread almond flour on a plate. Dip each slice of bread into the batter until soaked, then coat both sides in almond flour.
- Place the coated bread in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- In a small saucepan, heat sour cherries with a splash of water and maple syrup over low heat for about 5-7 minutes until they soften.
