Cooking Steps
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, saffron, salt, and pepper. Coat the chicken breasts evenly with this mixture and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Place the marinated chicken in the pan. Cook each side for 6-8 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  4. Remove the chicken and let it rest. In the same pan, add extra minced garlic and any leftover marinade. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Slice the chicken or serve whole, drizzle the sauce over it, and garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or mint.
