Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the pears by peeling and slicing about six ripe pears into thin wedges. Toss them with granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice until well coated.
- Mix the topping ingredients, combining rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, and cold butter until crumbly.
- Layer the pears in a greased baking dish and sprinkle the oat mixture on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until topping is golden brown and pears are tender.
