How to Make Fattet Hummus
  1. Prepare the Chickpeas: If using dried chickpeas, soak overnight, then cook until tender (1-2 hours). If using canned, drain and rinse.
  2. Blend Ingredients: In a blender, combine cooked chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and cumin. Blend until smooth, adding water if needed.
  3. Taste and Adjust: Taste the mixture and adjust seasoning with more salt or lemon juice if desired, then blend again.
  4. Serve and Garnish: Transfer Fattet Hummus to a serving bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, add whole chickpeas, and sprinkle with paprika.
  5. Enjoy: Serve warm or at room temperature with pita bread or fresh vegetables.
