How to Make Pickled Turnips
- In a large jar, mix together water, white vinegar, kosher salt, and granulated sugar. Stir gently until everything is fully dissolved to create the perfect brine.
- Toss in the smashed garlic, along with the turnips and beets. Make sure they are completely submerged in the brine.
- Close the jar tightly and leave it at room temperature in a cool, dark place for about 5 days.
