How to Make Vibrant Zesty Citrus and Cranberry Relish
- Rinse the fresh cranberries under cold water, discarding any mushy ones.
- Zest one orange and juice both oranges, measuring the juice for later use.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the cranberries, orange juice, water, granulated sugar, and orange zest. Stir until cranberries begin to pop, about 5-10 minutes.
- Once the cranberries have burst, remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice.
- Allow the mixture to cool, then transfer to an airtight container and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
