For the Patties
  • 1 pound Ground Beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 tablespoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
For the Onions
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 medium Onions sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
For Assembly
  • 8 pieces Slider Buns gluten-free if needed
  • 8 slices Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Smoky BBQ Sauce your favorite brand
  • 2 tablespoons Butter melted
  • 1 cup Pickles sliced

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add sliced onions with brown sugar. Sauté until the onions are golden and sweetly caramelized, about 8 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, gently combine the ground beef with smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Shape into eight even patties.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet to medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 3 minutes on each side, adding a slice of cheddar cheese on top in the final minute.
  4. Brush the cut sides of the slider buns with melted butter and toast them until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Spread a layer of smoky BBQ sauce on the bottom buns. Top with cheesy beef patties, caramelized onions, crispy pickles, and finish with the top buns.
