  • 1 pound Strawberries ripe and hulled
  • 1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar aged for richer taste
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar can substitute with honey
For the Assembly
  • 1 ball Burrata creamy cheese
  • 1/4 cup Pistachios or walnuts/almonds
  • 1/4 cup Mint fresh leaves
  • 1/4 cup Basil fresh leaves
For the Grilled Bread
  • 4 slices Bread crusty sourdough or rustic loaf
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Whisk together balsamic vinegar and brown sugar in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Hull and halve the strawberries, then coat them thoroughly with the balsamic mixture.
  4. Spread the strawberries in a single layer in a casserole dish. Bake for 20 minutes until soft.
  5. Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat; brush the bread slices with oil. Grill until golden brown, about 1 minute per side.
  6. Assemble the dish by placing the burrata in a serving bowl. Drizzle the roasted strawberries on top and garnish with mint, basil, and pistachios.
  7. Serve immediately to enjoy the flavor and texture.
