How to Make Valentine’s Day Love Cake
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare cake pans with baking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the white cake mix, egg whites, water, and canola oil. Beat until smooth.
  3. Divide the batter into two bowls. Color one with pink gel food coloring.
  4. Alternately scoop pink and white batter into prepared pans to create a tie-dye effect. Bake for 28-32 minutes.
  5. For frosting, beat the softened butter until creamy, then add powdered sugar, whipping cream, and vanilla.
  6. Once cooled, level the cake layers, frost between layers and cover the whole cake.
