How to Make Valentine’s Day Love Cake
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare cake pans with baking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the white cake mix, egg whites, water, and canola oil. Beat until smooth.
- Divide the batter into two bowls. Color one with pink gel food coloring.
- Alternately scoop pink and white batter into prepared pans to create a tie-dye effect. Bake for 28-32 minutes.
- For frosting, beat the softened butter until creamy, then add powdered sugar, whipping cream, and vanilla.
- Once cooled, level the cake layers, frost between layers and cover the whole cake.
- Decorate with piping bags, add cherries, and optionally sprinkle with heart sprinkles.
