Preparation Steps
- Gather your tools and ingredients: Grab a citrus juicer, measuring cup, and an optional strainer. Make sure you have fresh tangerines and other ingredients ready for this refreshing treat.
- Wash the tangerines thoroughly. Rinse each piece under cool water to remove any dirt or residues. Then, cut each tangerine in half horizontally with a sharp knife.
- Juice the tangerines. Place each half over your measuring cup or bowl, squeezing firmly to extract every drop until the juice runs freely, bright and fragrant.
- Taste the juice. If you prefer a sweeter sip, add honey or agave syrup little by little, stirring until completely dissolved to achieve your desired sweetness.
- Strain the juice if you like it smooth. For a pulp-free experience, pour the juice through a fine mesh sieve to catch any bits of pulp or seeds.
- Serve over ice. Pour the freshly squeezed juice into a glass filled with ice cubes, and if you’d like, garnish with a pretty slice of tangerine or a few fresh mint leaves for added flair.

Notes
For an extra refreshing experience, refrigerate your tangerines before juicing. Cold juice is much more delightful on a warm day!
