How to Make Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Shrimp
- Thaw your shrimp. If using frozen shrimp, thaw them in the fridge overnight or place them under cold running water for about 10 minutes. Once thawed, pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
- Combine the ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, toss your dried shrimp with minced garlic, olive oil, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Ensure each shrimp is evenly coated for maximum flavor.
- Add Parmesan. Sprinkle freshly grated parmesan cheese over the shrimp mixture, then toss again to ensure the delicious cheese adheres to each piece.
- Preheat your air fryer. Set it to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to heat for about 5 minutes.
- Cook the shrimp. Place the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the shrimp turn golden and opaque.
- Garnish and serve. Once cooked, remove the shrimp from the air fryer and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve hot alongside lemon wedges.
